I love Sephora but sometime the products there can get a bit pricey. I'm going to share with you some Sephora hacks that would save you loads but also gives you advantages. I got all of these hacks from experience and research on multiple sites. Let's get started shall we.
1) Shop online; You get 3 free samples from shopping at Sephora.com without a coupon code. You have a variety of samples to choose from.
2) Become a beauty insider; Benefit of being a beauty insider is that you get free makeup on your birthday. Also, for every dollar you spend you get 1 point and you can use those points to redeem products.
3)Shop at Sephora in January; I've seen many post on pinterest and blogs on shopping at Sephora and here's why if you spend $350 in a calendar year you earn VIB (Very Important Beauty-Insider) status. But if you spend $1000 you earn the uber-exclusive VIB Rouge status. Here’s the thing not many people knows: if you spend $1000 in January, you’ll get VIB Rouge status for the rest of that calendar year, plus the entire next calendar year. That’s 23 months of perks like free shipping on all orders and free unlimited access to the beauty studio (aka free full-face makeup applications that will get you through special occasions). Plus, Sephora’s after-holiday sales on holiday gift sets are usually an additional 40% off.
4)Buy value sets; The value sets are one cosmetic line in the store with products from that one line. The value sets are up to 70% off. You get more than what you pay for.
5) Try avoid travel size products; Most of the time it's better to just buy the full size since the travel size may cost less but you get less product than the price of full size product. Ex: Alterna Bamboo Volume 48-Hour Sustainable Volume Spray: the full size product costs $5.95 per ounce, and the travel size costs $11.76 per ounce. That’s near double the price!
6) Don't buy fragrance unless it's a perfume sampler set; If you buy a perfume sampler set you would receive a $95 value perfume certificate plus you still get to keep all those perfume samplers.
