Sephora
[seh-for-ah]
French brand and chain of cosmetics stores founded in Paris in 1970
I love Sephora but sometime the products there can get a bit pricey. I'm going to share with you some Sephora hacks that would save you loads but also gives you advantages. I got all of these hacks from experience and research on multiple sites. Let's get started shall we.
1) Shop online; You get 3 free samples from shopping at Sephora.com without a coupon code. You have a variety of samples to choose from.
2) Become a beauty insider; Benefit of being a beauty insider is that you get free makeup on your birthday. Also, for every dollar you spend you get 1 point and you can use those points to redeem products.
3)Shop at Sephora in January; I've seen many post on pinterest and blogs on shopping at Sephora and here's why if you spend $350 in a calendar year you earn VIB (Very Important Beauty-Insider) status. But if you spend $1000 you earn the uber-exclusive VIB Rouge status. Here’s the thing not many people knows: if you spend $1000 in January, you’ll get VIB Rouge status for the rest of that calendar year, plus the entire next calendar year. That’s 23 months of perks like free shipping on all orders and free unlimited access to the beauty studio (aka free full-face makeup applications that will get you through special occasions). Plus, Sephora’s after-holiday sales on holiday gift sets are usually an additional 40% off.
4)Buy value sets; The value sets are one cosmetic line in the store with products from that one line. The value sets are up to 70% off. You get more than what you pay for.
5) Try avoid travel size products; Most of the time it's better to just buy the full size since the travel size may cost less but you get less product than the price of full size product. Ex: Alterna Bamboo Volume 48-Hour Sustainable Volume Spray: the full size product costs $5.95 per ounce, and the travel size costs $11.76 per ounce. That’s near double the price!
6) Don't buy fragrance unless it's a perfume sampler set; If you buy a perfume sampler set you would receive a $95 value perfume certificate plus you still get to keep all those perfume samplers.

Eyeliner; Maybelline gel eyeliner, Covergirl Perfect Point plus eyeliner, Maybelline studio precise liquid eyeliner (alternative stila liquid eyeliner)

Fall must have
I can't believe it's already October. It's time to do a fall theme for my room. I love changing my room or routine up during the seasons. Right now we're in fall so I'm going to replace my stuff for the fall.
1) Candles; I always have candles throughout the whole year but I get really excited during the fall and winter since the candles are more festive. I love put my candles on a candle warmer rather than burning them since it last longer.
2) Short combat boots; I love wearing boots during the fall. But my current favorite type of boots are combat boots. They are very stylish and they go with most of my fall outfit.
3)Dark lip color; Lately I've been changing my makeup routine I love wear dark lip color especially burgundy colors. I highly recommend the nyx soft matte lip cream. Those lip cream are the bomb!
4)Sweater/Cardigan; Sweaters and Cardigans are a must have. They're just so warm and cozy. I love wear knitted sweaters with my skater skirt and pair them with my combat boots. Also layering the sweater over flannels or collar shirts are really cute. When I'm rushing and as I walking out of the house I always grab my cardigan.
5)Christmas lights; I've seen this in many tumblr room post and youtubers room tour. I like having the Christmas lights in my room only in the fall and winter season. It just gives the room a really festive look. The Christmas light with polaroids hanging from it gives a more festive look especially when all of those polaroids means something to you and just capturing that very moment. Whenever you wake up and look at those you'll feel positive. Remember to always think positive even when things are getting tough because trust me it'll get better.
That's it for today's post. I might do a fall haul soon let me know what kind of post you guys want me to do.

How to save money on makeup
I don't wear much makeup, I only wear mascara, eyebrow pomade, and concealer on an everyday basis. But, sometimes I wear more when I'm trying to achieve a certain look or when I'm performing on stage.
I purchase all of my makeup at Sephora and Mac because the makeup last throughout my day and it looks amazing. But those prices can really add up. Just the mascara, eyebrow pomade, and concealer is already around $60 and that's just my everyday makeup not even a full face. It can get a little expensive after awhile.
At drugstores there are tons of dupes. You just have to find it. I usually look on pinterest for the dupes. On pinterest they have a great list for drugstore dupes for high end makeup. Buying drugstore makeup can save you up to 50% or more than buying high end makeup.
The benefit of buying drugstore makeup is that most makeup brands in the drugstore has coupons for their products. That's another plus for drugstore makeup.
Some of my favorite brands in the drugstore for makeup are L'Oreal, nyx, rimmel, Maybelline and covergirl.
